At Kinetic, we programme and commission modern experimental arts from a humanist perspective, curating experiences which thoroughly consider location and explore environment-performance-human relationships. Our roots are cemented in experimental music but through these interests, there are no disciplinary boundaries in our programming. We tend to present experiences outside of traditionally used spaces, and encourage more communicative, intimate relationships between audiences, performers and artists. Kinetic is based in Manchester, UK, and always strives to find a balance between supporting local, emerging artists and more established national and internationally renowned artists.

Shaun is a composer and recent Masters graduate of the RNCM where he studied with Larry Goves and Gary Carpenter. Over the past three years, his work has been performed by House of Bedlam, Mimitabu, RTE ConTempo Quartet, Vonnegut Collective, Psappha, and various performers/ensembles from the RNCM and University of Salford, and has been featured by nonclassical, BBC Radio 3, New Music North West Festival 2017 and New Music Manchester Festival 2019. The main focuses of his recent experimental work are social mobility and interpretive freedom - creating works which democratise participation to include anyone willing and able, and inviting participants to respond to instructions which encourage discovery and throw up a wide variety of results.
